Hi Wade!
I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that what you are doing is making a difference!
My daughter was being pretty badly bullied at school a few weeks ago. We talked with her, the principal of the school, and also the parent of the girl doing the bullying. Nothing was resolved and no apologies were made. We told out daughter that she would have to find a way to just let it go. She said she had, but we all know that's easier said than done.
Cruel words leave ugly scars, even when no one else can see them.
You spoke at her high school yesterday and made a difference. My daughter came home and told me the bully had come to her in tears and apologized to her for what she had done! I was so proud of my daughter for responding with these words, "I've already forgiven you and moved on."
Being a teenager these days is so incredibly hard and my heart breaks for those that don't have anyone to guide them through it. Thank you for what you are doing and please continue.
