This is a program that is real, raw, and relevant! It grabs the student's attention right from the start and keeps them engaged throughout the entire program. The message tears down the invisible face mask that kids put up around them, and penetrates into their hearts and minds. It causes them to truly look at their lives through different eyes!
The program runs approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
The Principal of each individual school starts the event by introducing the MBC program.
A short video is played sharing information about Ryan, followed by television news footage of his automobile accident. Speaker Wade White begins the program by sharing details of the tragic loss of his son, and how that sorrowful event impacted and forever changed his life, and the lives of his family.
Wade discussed the powerful fact that everyone in the room is making a life impact and this impact isn't just linear, but rather 360 degrees around them. Whether they realize it or not, they are impacting people around them, often without even realizing it. He then begins to change the dynamics of the room by asking the kids to stand up and move next to someone that they don't know, someone they may not have talked to in a long lime, or someone they may have had an issue with in the past. This has proven very effective in breaking down emotional walls and opening up lines of communication. He then moves into his message which contains the following:
